Bladder Cancer Prognosis More Condition_symptoms Bladder Cancer Spread To Lymph Nodes?

Bladder cancer spread to lymph nodes? - bladder cancer prognosis more condition_symptoms

My husband was with bladder cancer that originated in the kidney diagnosed. (they thought it was kidney cancer, but later discovered was actually bladder cancer) There were several lymph nodes around the kidney. He had removed the kidney and most of the lymph nodes. If returned, the results of the pathology said the cancer was metastatic, and the prognosis was poor. The oncologist ordered a CT scan of the chest and I saw 2 other lymph nodes near the lungs. His lungs were clear, but. Before the operation, all other scans were clear.
So my question is, if the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes but not to other organs, but it's something I can do? I know it can not be cured but can be treated? How fast it spreads to other organs? You can also remove lymph nodes in the lung? This would make a difference? Would help to chemotherapy? He is 49, fit and healthy.
Thank you x
